Love to learn?

If so, you don’t want to miss the Mother Earth News Fair coming to Topeka next month. With more than 75 practical, hands-on workshops taught by leading experts in the areas of renewable energy, organic gardening, sustainable agriculture, green home building and more, you’ll be sure to walk away with new knowledge and skills.

While at the fair, be sure to stop by the Kansas Farmers Union booth to play Is the Price Right? Based on NFU’s Farmer’s Share of the Retail Food Dollar, this interactive game challenges consumers to determine which products yield the highest returns to farmers. We’ll also be distributing membership and project information. Look for us in Booth 4316 in the main Expo Hall.

Mother Earth News Fair will be held at the Kansas Expocentre the weekend of October 25-26. Tickets start at $25 for a one-day pass and children 17 and under are admitted free. Visit the fair’s website to see the workshop schedule and purchase advance tickets.
