The first week in August Kansas Farmers Union is hosting four Farm Bill discussions. Staff from our national office will be here in person to listen to what you have to say to them. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to come and visit face-to-face with the Farm Bill gladiators while enjoying a free meal and socializing with neighbors.
The Douglas County listening session is co-hosted by the Thellman family at their Juniper Hill Farm barn. We’ll be ready to greet you at 6:00 PM with dinner available at 6:30 PM. The 2018 Farm Bill discussion will kick-off at approximately 7:00 PM.
The listening session is open to the public. We encourage you to share the event with others involved in production agriculture, local food, and nutrition and food security. There are handy share buttons for most social media platforms towards the bottom of this page.
