Established in 2010, Juniper Hill Farms is a first-generation farm located in the heart of the Kansas River Valley in Douglas County, Kansas. A highly diversified and quickly growing agricultural operation operated by first generation young farmers, Juniper Hill Farms is committed to raising high quality products in sustainable and environmentally friendly ways. Juniper Hill grows 40 acres of vegetables both organically and conventionally ranging from leafy greens, tomatoes and peppers, to watermelons, winter squash, and pumpkins.

We create an environment that comes as close as possible to what a chicken would choose on its own if it could. They rotate around the pasture in movable open-air hoop houses. Our chickens have constant access to green grass, weeds, seeds, bugs, fresh air and sunshine. Moveable hoop houses keep our birds safe from the weather and predators as they grow, while allowing us to increase the fertility and organic matter of our pasture.
