With the arrival of fall activities on many agritourism farms across Kansas and the opening of Christmas tree farms to follow in just a couple of months we have received many inquiries of how to reduce corona virus risks for guests and staff. Kansas Department of Agriculture has organized a virtual meeting to address these inquiries.
Please join KDA virtually at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 1, 2020 for presentations and discussion.
Presenters will include:
- Ashley Goss, Deputy Secretary, Kansas Department of Health and Environment
- Janelle Dobbins, From the Land of Kansas Marketing Manager with the Kansas Department of Agriculture
- Sue Stringer, Kansas Agritourism Program Manager, Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism
- Jay Schwinn, Agritourism Advisory Committee Chair and Manager at Walters Pumpkin Patch.
You will have the opportunity to hear recommendations for safe practices throughout your season and ask questions live or submitted to Janelle Dobbins prior to the virtual meeting.
