Join us on the Virtual Road Trip to the KFU State Convention
Message from President Teske:
In this strange time we find ourselves in, Kansas Farmers Union is also in the challenging position of bringing our state membership together via zoom or phone instead of in-person for our annual convention.
This unique time also offers us the opportunity to reach out to the entire state membership – the inactive as well as the active – to explore opportunities to regenerate a segment of our membership we’ve neglected too long, those chapters not electing leadership and delegates for their chapter to represent them at the state convention level. This will enable any and all KFU members to interact with those of us on the state Board of Directors and each other in your area.
As challenging and stressful as our lives are right now this really is a wonderful opportunity to interact in an easier way than all of us putting on miles.
The main thing I will miss in our virtual convention this year is the energy and networking that always happens in a face-to-face convention, but we will get by for this year.
Please consider participating in the District Meeting and your Chapter’s Zoom/call. We intend to have speakers from the KFU staff, the Midwest Insurance Agency, and the National Farmers Union. Every member deserves the opportunity to make their voice heard.
STOP TWO Chapter Meeting
Continue on the journey and connect directly with the other members in your chapter, as well as KFU officers and staff, so as to explore opportunities in your area to represent your members as legal voting delegates to the Kansas Farmers Union state convention.
For 2020, KFU is grouping counties for online or conference call-based chapter meetings. LEARN MORE
