Save the date: 2021 KFU State Convention Dec 1 and 2 in Wichita.

The Kansas Farmers Union board of directors moved to hold our 2021 state convention in-person this year with a zoom option for those reluctant to attend because of Covid. And they moved to have a backup plan ready if the entire in-person convention needs to be cancelled.

That is what we are working on.

The Drury is really a nice meeting location since the remodeling and I’m sure you will enjoy the convention in that setting. It will sure be nice to meet each other in person again. If it’s safe I think we all need this.

Plans are just being developed now for the convention, if you have suggestions for topics to address & keynote speakers, please give me a holler.

I suspect it will develop similar to how our recent conventions have laid out with the KFU BOD meeting the evening before convention, then convention itself convening on Wednesday, the 1st in the morning and running all day concluding the day with our banquet the evening of the 1st. Then reconvening the convention on the morning of the 2nd and wrapping it up sometime in the afternoon after lunch. None of this is written in stone though, and I’m just guessing at this point…

Please, get the shot and come to convention where we can meld our minds together again. It will be SO GOOD to see you all in person again!
