Congratulations to Maggie and Adam Pounds of South Hutchinson!

They were awarded the 2019 Innovative Conservation in Agriculture Award from the Reno County Conservation District! Maggie and Adam, owners of Simple Abundance Farm, are first generation farmers and Hutchinson natives and new members of Kansas Farmers Union.

Adam and Maggie cultivate fresh nutritious, and flavorful produce, specializing in a variety of baby greens, lettuce mixes, salad mixes, and microgreens. They use natural and sustainable, biointensive farm methods to produce high yields on a minimal amount of land while maintaining the integrity of the environment.

Along with growing and selling produce, they also make and sell small batch naturally fermented foods containing live cultures including a variety of sauerkrauts, pickled vegetables, fermented stone-ground mustards, and fermented salsas!

We’re loving the farm’s Instagram account and highly recommend a follow! @simpleabundancefarm

Thanks Maggie and Adam for your land stewardship, the food you grow, and the minds you expand with your education efforts!

Welcome to the Farmers Union Family Maggie and Adam!
You guys make us proud.
