Mary FundMary Fund is the Program and Policy Director for the Kansas Rural Center and has worked at KRC on conservation, natural resource and agricultural policy issues for nearly 30 years. She has also monitored state and federal farm and resource policy for many of those years, and worked on various advocacy projects at KRC. These include the farm crisis organizing project, anti-corporate farming campaign, and various state water policy issues. She edits KRC’s newsletter Rural Papers and also edits and contributes to KRC’s Legislative Weekly Updates during the state legislative session. Mary currently serves on the advisory team for the Kansas Center for Sustainable Agriculture and Alternative Crops/Ks. SARE at KSU, and as KRC’s representative to the National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition. She serves on the board of the national organization Organic Farming Research Foundation. She and her husband, Ed Reznicek, own and operate a 400 acre certified organic farm.
