If you live in one of these counties, contact Mercedes to receive updates on chapter chartering meeting this fall:
According to Kansas Farmers Union Bylaws Article VIII Countywide Unions:
- Ten or more dues-paying members, or 20 percent of the farmers in a county who are dues-paying members, whichever is lesser, may organize a union by expressing their desire and intent to organize themselves for the purpose set forth in these by-laws and in the regularly adopted program of the association.
- The officers of the county union shall be President, Vice-President, Secretary-Treasurer and a board of directors, of at least four (4) additional members.
